Haazri Privacy Policy
What Haazri accesses in your Slack workspace, how that information is used, and how to revoke access at any time.
Last updated: August 2, 2026
1. Introduction
This policy covers Haazri, a Slack app built and operated by Productbox for attendance tracking and reporting inside a Slack workspace. It's separate from, and more specific than, our general productbox.dev Privacy Policy, which covers this website. By installing Haazri into a Slack workspace, the workspace admin agrees to the collection and use of information described here.
2. Information Haazri collects
When a workspace admin installs Haazri, Slack's OAuth flow grants the app a limited set of permissions. Through those permissions, Haazri collects:
- Workspace information: your Slack team/workspace name and ID.
- Channel information: the names and IDs of channels Haazri is added to, so it knows where to read commands and post reports.
- User information: the names, Slack user IDs, and email addresses associated with your workspace members, so attendance can be tied to a person.
- Attendance events: check-in and check-out actions submitted through Haazri's Slack commands, along with their timestamps.
- Messages Haazri sends: the attendance confirmations and reports Haazri posts back into Slack on your behalf.
Haazri does not read the general message history of your workspace. It only acts on the specific commands and interactions used to record attendance.
3. How we use this information
- To record and time-stamp attendance check-ins and check-outs.
- To generate and post attendance summaries and reports back into Slack for managers and admins.
- To operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the Haazri app.
- To respond to support requests from workspace admins or users.
- To meet legal, contractual, and security obligations.
5. Data retention
We retain attendance records for as long as Haazri is installed in your workspace, so historical reporting keeps working. If Haazri is uninstalled, we delete workspace, channel, and user data associated with that installation within a reasonable period, unless a workspace admin has requested we retain exported records for their own compliance purposes.
6. How we protect information
Access tokens issued through Slack's OAuth flow are stored securely and used only to perform the actions Haazri is authorized for. Access is restricted on a role basis internally, and data is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so while we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Revoking access and your choices
A workspace admin can remove Haazri at any time from Slack's App Directory ("Manage apps" in your workspace settings), which revokes Haazri's access tokens immediately. Individual users who want their attendance history removed, or admins who want an export or deletion of workspace data, can email us at info@productbox.dev and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Children's privacy
Haazri is a workplace tool intended for use by employed adults within a company's Slack workspace. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in Haazri's functionality or for legal and regulatory reasons. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do, and material changes will be reflected here.
